So I've been adding my part to this big mural being done at our future art space
building. It's the Beatles' Abbey Road cover. This is a project that's being done between me, my dad, and whoever else wants to help finish it.
This is what it looked like about a month ago:

[link]As of today, it has more done to it that it has in that last picture. I just have to take a new shot of it.
Hopefully we can get it done before the new year. Though it's been sooooo cold lately, it's crazy to be outside (which is what I'll be doing tomorrow all day anyway...)
Well, tomorrow we're going to be lighting farolitos to line along the street! If you don't know what those are, they're just brown paper bags filled with sand at the bottom and have a small candle inside. They're traditional southwest Christmas decorations. We usually light them on Christmas Eve, but the Light Parade is tomorrow, so we're doing some early. We'll still do more on the 24th though. Do a google image search, they're pretty!
It's also a cheap alternative to racking up an electric bill this month.
***EDIT*** Now for some pictures!
[link][link]In the end, the total for farolitos was a little over 900. I am still sore and stiff from bending over and lighting them. Lots of them were dedicated to peoples' loved ones. They looked wonderful all lit up!
