Reminds me of when I was talking to someone from the east coast. I said where I was from and then they say, "New Mexico? I thought they only spoke Spanish there?" I was just "no...."

But it's pretty much half & half, English & Spanish. My grandma also told me stories of when she was young and used to work at the bank in town. People from out of state would come and try to exchange their US currency because they thought they were in Mexico. XD
