Morning Stretch

It's Alander again and this time you can see why he has spots! Alander is a Spotted Irken, also called a Taeman. Now here comes my big explanation for it! ^^ I'm still looking at Irkens as predators here.

Spotted Irkens emerged when an early Irken species moved into regions that were rich in vegetation. Due to climate change, the herds of animals that the Irkens preyed upon began migrating in search of newer and plentiful food sources. This led them to wide grasslands and small forests. This is where Spotted Irkens developed their unique skin pattern to serve as camouflage when hunting their prey. This led them to become even more successful predators, eventually resulting in population growth.

However in the present day, Spotted Irkens have slowly started to disappear after generations of mixing with other Irkens. Pure-blooded Spotted Irkens are hard to come by. There is simply not as many as there used to be. Spotted Irkens are also the carriers of the uncommon blue-eyes gene. Alander is as close to full-blooded as one can get during this age and time. He has the original skin pattern of his ancestors and he has blue eyes, which makes him a rare jewel.

The spot pattern down the lower half of his legs is the same pattern that's on his back, you just can't see it. I luv his white belly.
